Biography

Grace De-Graft Aitee is a highly skilled and dedicated health professional with expertise spanning midwifery, nursing, epidemiology, and women’s health care. As a Midwife and Nurse Specialist, Grace De-Graft Aitee has extensive experience in providing compassionate, evidence-based care for mothers and newborns across the continuum of pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal services. With training and practice as a Frontline Epidemiologist, Grace has played a critical role in disease surveillance, outbreak investigations, and public health response, contributing to the prevention and control of communicable diseases within communities. This background in field epidemiology strengthens her ability to link clinical practice with population-level health interventions. As a Well Woman Care Nurse Specialist, Grace is passionate about promoting preventive health services for women. This includes reproductive health, family planning, cervical and breast cancer screening, menopause care, and health education that empowers women to take charge of their well-being throughout their life stages. Grace is recognized for a strong commitment to quality improvement, mentorship, and capacity building in healthcare systems. She continues to contribute to advancing maternal, child, and women’s health while bridging clinical care with public health practice for stronger, healthier communities.
