Dr. Owusu is an Associate Professor of Clinical and the Director of the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Miami School of Nursing & Health Studies.
She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Adult/Gerontology from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University.
Dr. Owusu completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Post Master's Certificate - Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Miami School of Nursing & Health Studies.
Her areas of research interest include health disparities among older adults. An expert in gerontology, Dr. Owusu aims to improve clinical care for underserved women.
