Marilyn M. Azumah leads the Female High
Dependency unit at Komfo Anokye Teaching
Hospital and also an adjunct lecturer at the Christian Service
University, Ghana. She is
active in improving heart health, with interests in improving
cardiovascular health care
service delivery, preventive care, supportive self-care
management, advocacy and
education of nursing and midwifery.
With a dynamic responsible team of experts, she plays a major role
in fundraising,
renovation, refurbishment and maintenance of the Otumfuo Osei Tutu
II, Heal Komfo
Anokye Project.
With a track record of her leadership, and innovation she was
selected in 2022 for the
Mandela Washington Fellowship, Young African Leaders Initiative
(YALI) by the U.S.
Department of State. Has a certificate in leadership in Public
Management in the
University of California, Davis.
In 2023, she was awarded the presidential honour for distinguished
service, leadership,
passion, commitment, and
sacrifice during the COVID-19 pandemic
