A. Adabugah is a registered nurse and public health professional with Nineteen
years of combined experience in Community and General Nursing within the Ghana
Health Service and currently a resident at the Ghana College of Nursing and
Midwifery perusing Well Woman Care membership program. I serve as the
Adolescent Health and In-Service Training Coordinator at the Talensi District
Health, where I lead maternal, adolescent and reproductive health programs. I
hold a Masters degree in Public Health and BSc in Nursing, and my expertise
includes sexual and reproductive health, family planning, comprehensive
abortion care, cervical cancer screening, and advocacy for women and girls,
particularly in addressing Female Genital Schistosomiasis (FGS) and other
neglected tropical diseases. A board member of Youth Harvest Foundation Ghana
(YHFG) and, Ghanaian Diaspora Nursing Alliance Co- lead for the Northen Zone. I
am dedicated to advancing gender-sensitive health services and community
engagement to improve health outcomes for women and adolescents.
